Community Dialogue on Immigration and the SB 1070 Austin Vigil

In preparation for the SB 1070 vigil at the Capitol, join us for a community dialogue to share our knowledge, raise questions, and discuss tactics for future organizing and resistance to SB 1070 and similar legislation here in Austin.
Topics of discussion will more generally include immigration reform and the border, ICE programs/local police collaboration, immigration detention centers and policies, racial profiling and human rights abuses, and current boycott campaigns targeting Arizona.
The meeting time will also be used to make signs for the vigil on the 29th. Some supplies will be available, but please bring any paints, posterboard, etc. that you're willing to contribute!
