There is a scientific consensus that we need to stop the rise of emissions by 2015 or nature will soon take over. After this we will only witness what nature has in store for us. To avert this catastrophe we need to pass a very good US bill this summer which, hopefully will be followed by a very good UN agreement this coming December in Copenhagen. Jere Locke, Director of Texas Climate Emergency Campaign (TCEC) will talk about the latest science, nature's timelines and what we need to accomplish legislatively. TCEC works in 12 congressional districts building coalitions in advance of the coming vote on the national bill.
