Kids Story Hour
Sunday March 1st @ 1PM
This Sunday\, the Texas Coordinator of Grassroots Leadership\,
Bob Libal\, will be talking about immigration and specifically\, the Immigrant
Family Detention Center in Taylor\, Texas that keeps children and
families behind bars.
We will be reading a story about an immigrant family and making
protest signs. The A-Scouts will bring the signs to the vigil that is
scheduled to take place outside of the family detention center the
following week on Saturday\, March 7th.
The A-Scouts will be present and looking to recruit other rad kids
to join the A-Scouts movement. More information about the detention
center and the March 7th demonstration will be available at story hour.
And\, as always\, will have stories\, snacks\, and activities

His presentation includes video and photos\, and will focus both on AATW's recent work in solidarity with Gaza and their ongoing resistance in the West Bank. Members of Anarchists Against the Wall continually pay the price for their activism--shootings\, including being shot\, beaten\, arrested and indicted. They desperately need funding for legal support for both Palestinian and Israeli activists who are arrested and charged in the course of the struggle.
